OPC Showerhead Descaler and Sanitiser 5L

Showerhead Descaler and Sanitiser will descale and sanitise showerheads, plumbing fittings and sanitary ware in one operation. Our product is an acid based, ready to use liquid descaling and sanitising solution encompassing a proprietary biocide.

Showerhead Descaler and Sanitiser can be used sparingly on decorative and chromed finishes.

Directions for use:

1. Physically clean the head with a soft brush to remove loose deposit or soap scum.
2. Immerse item in a solution of 1 part product to 3 parts water for routine cleaning.
3. Allow a minimum contact time of 5 minutes for the disinfection process.
4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
5. Inspect surface of showerhead or fitting and if any scale is present then repeat step 2. This can also be monitored by the presence of an indicator i.e. when the solution colour changes from yellow to blue/green then fresh product should be used.
6. Rinse with copious amounts of clean water.
7. Examine to confirm cleanliness.
8. Return to service.

Test on a small area before application.

Showerhead Descaler and Sanitiser should not be mixed with other products such as hypochlorite based solutions.

Showerhead Descaler and Sanitiser has proven efficiency against Legionella.

Passes EN13623:2020

Kill rate of 99.999% within 5 minutes against;

• Legionella pneumophila

Also Proven to Kill a range of surface-active bacteria.

Passes EN1276:2019

Kill rate of 99.999% within 5 minutes against;

• Pseudomonas aeruginosa
• Escherichia coli
• Staphylococcus aureus
• Enterococcus hirae

Storage & Handling

• Store in a cool, dry place away from oxidizing and reducing agents, strong acid, alkalis, solvents and organic materials. 
• Do not mix with other chemicals. 
• Always wear suitable gloves and eye protection when handling.

Use biocides safely. Always read the label and product information before use.
