10 Water Sports to Try Before You Die!
15/07/15
If you have your own swimming pool then it’s likely you take to any body of water like a duck on a pond. So, while your swimming pool is full of our effective cleaning chemicals, why not take a trip to the beach to leave it work its wonders.
And while you’re down on the golden sands, why not give one of these wonderful water sports a try?
1. Surfing
Are there gnarly waves? Then you may want to grab a surfboard and hang 10, because everyone wants to be a surfer dude, don’t they?2. Kite Surfing
If the sea is a little calmer then you can still get your kicks, just instead of the waves, wind will propel you along. Never has playing with a kite been so much fun.3. Wakeboarding
But what happens if you have a need for speed and there aren’t any big waves or wind? You go wakeboarding and get pulled behind a boat, of course. Problem solved.4. Paddleboarding
If you’d prefer something a little more leisurely where you’re in control, then grab a paddle! It’ll work wonders for your core strength.5. Windsurfing
If you’re an experienced sailor or simply have brilliant balance, then windsurfing may be for you. Can you catch the wind and stay upright?6. Jet skiing
Of course, with so many hire companies along the coast, one of the easiest ways to get a thrill is to hire a speedy jet ski. And you can fit two people on one, so you’re sure to get value for money with this activity.7. Parasailing
If you’d rather get up in the air and appreciate the stunning panoramic views of the coast, there is nothing better than parasailing. Watch as your feet rise out of the water, with the wind in your hair and the speed boat powers off in front of you.8. Sailing
If there’s a few of you, you could always charter a boat for the day. Though this is only recommended if you’re experienced at sailing. If not, then you could always pay someone to do the hard work for you and enjoy an afternoon on a yacht. Although, we must admit, both of these options will be rather pricey.9. Coasteering

You could of course skip the boats, kites and boards and take part in a coasteering tour of the local coast instead. This rock scrambling and coast jumping will see you getting back to nature; although, only do this with specialist activity companies as they’ll know the areas where the water is deep enough to plunge in safely.
